ACLU Says Texas Police Violated Art Gallery Owner’s Freedom of Expression

Pilot Point police are now facing a legal challenge for violating the rights of a local art gallery owner. Police threatened the the gallery owner with arrest under a pornography statute because of simple nudity in a mural on the outside of the gallery. The ACLU took up the case saying, "It is unconstitutional for government officials to censor a work of art because it might offend a small group of people."
