AU: Topfree bathers cause stir for Holdfast bay Mayor

"I don't think it's appropriate, lying there with very little on. It is not appropriate for a family beach." Those are the words of Dr. Ken Rolland, Holdfast Bay mayor. It seems the number of reports of women going topfree on local beaches have increased raising concerns. Rolland would prefer that such women would go to Maslin Beach which was designated as a nude beach in 1975. Citing concerns that people are now using camera phones to take secret photos of the topfree bathers, Rolland almost sounds like he is blaming the topfree for the problem. The only positive in Rolland's remarks are that he does not intend to take any action at the current time saying, "I think trying to impose your morals, your standards on everyone is a very difficult thing."
