Berkshire Vista Nudist Resort to remain open
From Denis Kirkpatrick, posted with encouragement:

Today I received information from the owners of the Berkshire Vista Nudist Resort (AANR) in Hancock, Massachusetts.

Berkshire Vista will remain open, and will operate in 2008, and for the forseeable future. Plans to sell and go textile after the 2008 season ended have been abandoned.

As revealed to me, the owners think too much of their members, and want to assure their continued accommodation.

At a meeting with the camp membership last May, the future of Berkshire Vista was uncertain. The ownership announced they would no longer be a 100% club (require 100% AANR membership after this fall) and that the operation in 2008 would be scaled back, with operations beyond 2008's season uncertain.

This weekend (Labor Day 2007 weekend) the ownership announced to its membership that they plan on continuing the operation as a nudist resort.

The owners have recently sold their home in nearby West Stockbridge, Mass. and plan on moving in to the Kittle House on the camp grounds as their permanent residence. Since they will be on grounds a small reduction in the camp staff may happen come the 2008 season.

Operation of the camp restaurant in 2008 may or may not be scaled back. Details are not firm at this writing.

In any event, Berkshire Vista is not closing. Pass the word!

Additional details are being formulated at this writing and will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
